BIOGRAPHY: Chris Knight: There are several, different variations for the name "Serill" - (Cyrel, Sarel, Serrill). My grandfather has his place of death as Illinois. It is interesting to note that in the Biography of Lyman ALGER, published in the book "History of Clinton County, Iowa" it says that Lyman emigrated to "Four Mile Grove" in La Salle County, Illinois. He was there only about a year. His brother, Serill, may have been there with him.

Holden (pub. Boston 1859) Page: page 41 Text: "Martha Knight, daughter of Noel and Martha, was twice married. First, to Serill Alger. He died in Illinois. Second, to Lyman Alger, a brother of said Serill. She died in Iowa leaving one child - Delos Alger; born March 16, 1841." (page 41)
