Scott Knotts, 64, of Spencer died Monday, March 28, in the Lexington, Kentucky Veterans Hospital.

He was born at Chloe, Calhoun County, son of the late Charles and Ettie Duffield Knotts, was a World War II veteran and a construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Etta Jarvis Knotts, six sisters, Mrs. Sadie Arnold of Vienna, Mrs. Reva Gibson of Ivydale, Mrs. Marie Arnold and Mrs. Opal Weekley, both of Minnora, Mrs. Jean Woods of Charleston, and Mrs. Juanita Siers of Fayetteville; two brothers, Cecil Knotts of Barberton, and Dr. Bernard Knotts of Buckhannon.

Services were held Friday, April 1 at the Sinnett Funeral Home in Spencer with the Rev. Johnnie Alfred officiating, and burial was in Eventide Cemetery.
