!OBIT: "MURPHY---At the family home on Howell Prairie, Mrs. Sarah Murphy, Thursday, June 7, 1906 of dropsy. 

 Deceased was born October 19, 1831, in Posey county, Indiana, and in 1865 crossed the plains to Oregon and settled on Howell Prairie, where she has since resided.  Her husband, William K. MURPHY, died two years ago last March.  Mrs. MURPHY leaves seven children to mourn her, one of whom is J. E. MURPHY, tile and brick manufacturerer near the fair grounds.
 The funeral will be held at the family home at 10 o'clock on Saturday." Oregon Statesman, June 8, 1906, 4:2.
