She married c. 1679 Ambrose Thompson, son of John Thompson and Mirable Griggs (Stiles' Wethersfield II:762n citing Fairfield Probate Records 35:86), … Sarah Thompson owned the covenant in the Stratford First Church on 21 April 1700 (church records slip index citing 1:11-26). …"

    It appears that the Sarah Wells/Welles, daughter of John, born 28 September 1659, was the child of John and Sarah (Curtis) Wells, who removed to Hadley after the birth of their first two children.
