SARAH SCHITTLER, b- 8 Mar. 1815 with parents, Adam & Mary Schittler as sponsors, Brush Creek United Church of Clirist, d- probably in early 1852. She seemed to be alive at the time her brother petitioned for a division of their father's estate, but deceased by the time the inquisition was held in June of 1852. Either her or Jacob's birthdate is incorrect although both are taken from church records. It could be that the date above is for another person as her mother was not named Mary. She m- William Ashbaugh. He may have died by 3 Mar. 1865 as the children seemed to get their share of their grandfather's estate at that time.
