In 1891 her granddaughter, Carrie Corll, went to live with her and later cared for her after she got gangrene in a toe and until she died. Obituary Death of Mrs. Ella Corll Mrs. Ella Corll of Cornersburg, widow of the late (error he died after her) Peter Corll, died at her late residence Friday morning at 3 o'clock, after a long and protracted illness. She was a great sufferer, but sustained by a christian's hope, she endured all patiently, and passed away with a smile of contentment and love. She was about seventy-three years of age, and leaves behind her a host of warm friends. Funeral services from residence Sunday morning, and burial at German Reformed church, north of Canfield.
