Sarah Jane Overton, (second) daughter of John Overton of Southrey, carpenter, by Sarah[1] Quincey,[4] was born on 11 August 1852 at Southrow (Southrey) in the parish of Bardney, Lincolnshire, England; the birth (of “Mary Jane”) was registered in the district of Lincoln by her mother on 14 August.[4] Sarah Jane was baptized on 12 September of the same year in the parish of Bardney.[1]
