Thanks for the letter. My information comes from an old McGlone researcher who passed away a few years back. I tried to find his name in my records but when I first got involved in the research about 10 years ago I did not keep records and I can not find anything on it. As you are a direct family member I will bow down and say you are the expert on this line. Are you saying that Sarah McGlone was not the mother? Thanks, Darrell

You have a Washington Stamper married to a Sarah Edith McGlone. Sarah and George only had George Washington and William. The other sons are not their children. Watt, Walter, and Alma are related to William and Washington. I am not exactly sure as to how, except they are not sibblings, I believe they were cousins. I can remember meeting Watt and Walt as a child, and I believe they lived in Vanceburg. Sarah was widowed in the late 1890`s. Sarah`s middle name is Eda. Sarah moved to Scioto County between 1910 - 1920, and all four children are living with her in 1920 plus a daughter in law which is George Washington`s wife Elizabeth (Lizzie). I am the granddaughter of Robert Russell Stamper, illegitimate son of Sarah Eda McGlone Stamper. Sadie Sowards References
