Note

There were two single Sarah Lipshetz/Lipschutz in the 1910 Census in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This one, the daughter of Max and Bernia Lipshetz, and the other Sarah was the daughter of David and Anna Lipschutz, who was still unmarried at age 27 in 1920 and living with her parents, which rules her out as being the wife of Max Schwartz.

Sarah died sometime after she was listed in the 1920 U.S. Census, which was enumerated on 10 January 1920 and prior to 22 December 1922, when her husband Max had re-married to Frieda Kramer in Los Angeles, California.
