Mrs. Barnard * [Francis] Lenny (Sarah Kilpatrick) came from Tyrone, Ireland, in 1832. They were three months crossing the ocean and mutiny was rife among passengers and crew. But the captain's cool decisions brought all safe to land.

Listed in the 1850 federal Census for Warren, Trumbull, OH with son, James Lenney, age 35. Her age is listed as 67, b ca 1783. Pioneer Cemetery listing gives age at death, 84 making her birth ca 1772. Tombstone is no longer identifiable.
