    Jonathan2 Hyde (Jonathan2) died at Canterbury, Conn; in his will dated 16 Sp 1726 proved 8 Nov 1726 he makes bequests to his five daughters via... "Sarah, wife of John Pike" … John Pike died in Canterbury 21 Sep 1754; Admin on the estate of John Pike deceased was granted 17 Oct 1754 to Mrs Sarah and Mr. John; inventory 6 Nov 1754 (Plainfield, CT Probate Rec 4:3); lists children, etc;
    Sarah b. 17 Oct 1685 m at Watertown 23 May 1706 John Pike (he proceeds to choose the incorrect John Pike … In 1751 John Pike was executor of the will of Mr.s Abigail Hides, his wife's stepmother. [This being the case should could not have also married Joseph Bacon or John Hutchins.]

  3.   The death date of 16 Jan 1773 seems to belong to another person (Sarah Bacon).

    She would have either died as Pike or remarried. As noted above she was married to John Pike in 1706 and still married until his death in 1754 when she was admin to his estate. A second marriage at the age of 69 seems unlikely.
