    link Samuel Hood of Boston, shipwright leaves to his six children: Deborah Hood, Saumuel Hood, Richard Hood, John Hood, Sarah the wife of John Presberry & Ruth Hood. And that my six children should give to their sister Mary Van (son-in-law Michael Van) 1/7th part as they may think she hath occasion for it. He later includes Mary as part of his seven children but makes clear he does not like Michael Van. See also the division of his estate on page 9.
