"Sarah Ellen WALKER, born Logan County, Ill., Aug. 10, 1843, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Imo PAULIN at Pierson, Iowa, Feb. 11, 1927, age 83-6-1. Dec. 16, 1866, married James WALKER, four children. Husband died Apr. 14, 1899. Children: Oscar WALKER of Remsen, Iowa; Mrs. Louis McKENZIE and Mrs. Imo PAULIN, Pierson, Iowa; and Will WALKER of Lauton, Iowa; 17 grandchildren, 22 grgrchn. Member Christian Church. Interment Batavia Cemetery."S1
"BODY OF AGED WOMAN TAKEN TO BATAVIA, IA. Pierson, Ia. (Special)—Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Walker, 83 years old, who died Thursday in the home of her daughter Mrs. John Paullin, were held Sunday at 2:30 o'clock in the Christian church at Pierson. The body was taken to Batavia, Ia. for burial beside that of her husband. Two sons, Oscar, of Remson, Will, of Sioux City, and two daughters, Mrs. John Paullin and Mrs. McKinsey, of Pierson, survive."
"Mrs. Sarah Walker, who has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. John Paulin, for the past year passed away Friday morning. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louis McKenzie and Mrs. John Paulin, both of Pierson; and two sons, Wm. Walker of Lawton, and Oscar Walker, of Remson."
