Notes

Sarah Davidson Clayton died the 20 March 1843. This is on her tombstone, in her obit, and in the Pension papers where she drew a Rev. War Widows Pension. She is buried in Davidson River Cemetery, now in Transylvania County, NC, but was in Henderson County when she died.
