Note

Some researchers have thought that Sarah, wife of James Graham was a Farley, but records in Lunenburg, Bedford and Franklin County, Virginia lead to her being a daughter of Jester Cox.

Indeed, the marriage bond for Sarah and her 2nd husband lists her as "Sarah Cox", as shown below:

1787 (Nov 27) Sarah Cox and John Furrow applied for a marriage bond, with James Slone as security. [Source: Franklin County VA Marriage Bonds 1786-1850:1483].

Note: there was an Edward Cox whose estate was inventoried in May 1784 in Botetourt County, Virginia that possibly be the Cox husband that some feel she may have married prior to her marriage to John Furrow in 1787. More research necessary.
