The following is from an email from Gene Zubrinski, 9 Aug 2007: "The word stranger and the date 8 January 1717/8 are not part of widow Sarah (Redway) (Carpenter) Brooks's death record but belong to an adjacent entry; the correct date of her death is 15 July 1717 (Rehoboth VR 2:230)."
