↑ The birth date of 1747 is impossible given the first marriage in 1759, so the birth information here must be discounted. From NEHGR, p. 137:326, says that Sarah, d/o Joseph Bryant and Sarah Gould, b. 2 Nov 1741, is usually the one thought to have married (1) James Stimpson and (2) Solomon Garfield, but as she is not named in the will of her grandfather in 1756, she is thought to have died young. Thus this article, "The Descendants of Abraham Bryant", concludes, "Since James Stimpson m. Sarah Bryant in Reading, she would most likely be a descendant of Abraham, but she can not as yet be identified."
