Sarah grew to womanhood and married Hugh Worthington, a tinsmith and they went down the Ohio River while he plied his trade on the boats. This was a day when long-handled gourds gave way to tin cups as drinking vessels. Where they made their future home or what became of them was never known and they were swallowed up in busy life. It is now 1931 so there is an entire century and more missing. A reflection like that makes us realize the passing of time. (From: The Bacons in Washington County, Ohio)
