HISTORY: Isaac and Ann moved to Iowa from Ohio in 1854 and settled in Union Township, Delaware County. They bought 160 acres of land. When they came to Union Township there was not a house between their home and Delhi, and on the trail to Anamosa, Iowa, there was only one house. Their home came to be the "original" Bacon family farm.According to the "History of Delaware County Iowa and its People" Isaac was born in the state of New York, USA.
