Several researchers claim that a Sarah Armstrong married John Caldwell of South River without attribution. Additional research is necessary to prove. Some researchers believe that Sarah may have been the daughter of John Armstrong and Elizabeth Meador or Meadows, but it appears both of them may have died prior to 1750. Sources are necessary to prove any suspected relationship or parentage.

   Looking for information on Sarah Armstrong(1753-1836). She was the daughter of John Armstrong and Elizabeth Meadows. She married John Caldwell Sr.(1754-1838). He died in Wayne County, I belive she did too. I would appreciate any information about their marriage. They had at least ten children.
   
   - both John Armstrong and Elizabeth Meadows appear to have died prior to 1750, making this claim questionable. More research needed.
