Person:Sarah Amidon (1)

NOTE: Sarah was the daughter of Henry Amidon born May 3 1727 in Oxford Mass. and Sarah Doubleday born in 1730 in Connecticut. When Henry was a teenager they moved to Conn. He served in the Lexington Alarm and as a Captain in the Revolutionary War. He died sometime after 1800 . Sarah died January 8 1794. Both died in Willington, Conn. They had 10 children. Sarah born February 9 1774 married Shubal and they moved to Navarino in 1799. I haven't been able to find where they are buried. They had 3 children that I know of. Shubal II born 1796 , Sallie born 1800, and George born 1805. Shubal 1796 died August 20 1883 and is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery. His wife Patty ? born 1796 Died December 16 1867. She is beside him in Pine Ridge Cemetery . I don't know any more about Sallie. George born 1805 married Ruth West. He died August 29 1891 and is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery . Ruth born 1806 and died April 20 1868.
