Samuel Worden was baptized 1 June 1718 at Stratford CT, in his own house, being very ill. Whereas Dr. Nathaniel resided at Stratford at this time, it has reasonably been assumed that Samuel was a son who died in infancy. Another son is missing from the will, namely John. Son Daniel was born 22 Mar 1707 at Little Compton RI, and he along with Dr. Nathaniel, Margaret, and John were baptized there 5 June 1707. Thus John was older than Daniel, and with Daniel the eldest son in 1737, John had died by then, evidently without issue.
