Note: I have no record to substantiate the name of Samuel's wife, but itappearsas such in all family records. The Revolutionary War Pension of JaneWilson indicates Samuel Wilson, who was her husband's brother, was born1762 and was also a soldier in the war, serving in Mecklenburg County,NC. It is believed Samuel and his brother Robert was the first of theWilson family to move to Williamson Co., and they was followed by theireight brothers who within a few years all settled nearby either inWilliamson or Marshall Counties. Evidently Samuel lived in Georgia for a few years before coming to Tennessee.
