!Dan Willis, 10811 S.W. Hunt Court, Wilsonville, OR 97070 has a copy of the

will of Samuel Willis, dated January 31, 1782.  In this will, Samuel mentions
nothing of his spouse, but lists one son and six (or seven?) daughters, as
follows:
    Samuel
    Sarah
    Ann
    Martha
    Rebeckah
    Mary Jane or Mary Jean (spelled both ways in the will; also, the lack of
      punctuation raises the question of whether this was one daughter named
      "Mary Jane(ean)" or two named "Mary" and "Jane(ean)"
    Hannah

!Samuel also appointed his two brothers, Joseph and James, to be the executors

of his last will and testament.  In so doing, he verified the existence and
names of at least three Willis brothers, but makes no mention of their
parentage.
