    In the records of the Dutch Church in New York is the baptism 31 Mar 1647 of Samuel, John, Joseph and Elizabeth, children of Francis Weekes. In 1663 deeded a "hom lott" to eldest son Samuel. Will of "ffrancis Weekes of Oyster bay", dated 25 Jun 1687, mentions sons Samuel, Joseph, John, Thomas and James, plus daughters Elizabeth wife of Nicholas Simkins, and Ann widow of Joseph Carpenter, as well as youngest son Daniel. Samuel d. 1698.
