Barnstable Probate Lib. 20, folio 377. Will of "Samuel Smith, 3d, of Wellfleet", dated 5 Jan 1779, proved 11 Jun 1779, names "Joshua Mayo Smith, son of my late Bro. Zoheth Smith", "to Hannah Sears Smith, daughter of my late Bro. Richard Smith", "To Samuel and Elizabeth Arey, children of my late sister Elizabeth Arey", "to Hannah Greene, the daughter of my only sister Ruth Greene, wife of Joseph Greene".
[Note: despite abstracting this will, this source does not even include Samuel as a child in this family, even though the relationships clearly show he was. But this source was unaware of the father's second marriage, and "misreported" some birthdates so they occurred before the death of the first wife. Interestingly, but sadly, that the only living sibling is Ruth Greene, and she dies in 1783 at age 24, the last surviving child of Zoheth Smith.]
