Samuel2 Foss (John1) was born probably in Rye, New Hampshire say 1661 [parents married about 1659, a brother John b 1660; he was witness 1682. The first known marriage of their children was in 1717] GDMNH claim he was taxed in 1753 but as he would be been in his 90's it is likely they compressed a generation. He married about 1686 [estimated at age 25] Mary2 Hinkson (Robert1)
