Taxed in Greenland 1708, 1712, 1715. S. F. was an added name on the Portsm. tax list 1726; 1731 list ‘S.F. & farm’ (leased). Taxed, in Barr. 1753, small, with Samuel jr., large, and Samuel 3d, medium; in 1742 only ‘Jr.’ was taxed. Lists 315c, 338a.

1 Isaac of Greenl. w/brother Samuel of Porsmouth in 1731 gave a joint deed to James Berry, likely father and son; but John (2) wit. Isaac’s deed when he sold out in Greenl. in 1729. This Isaac m. 5 Dec. 1717 Abigail Hinkson. In 1729, of Greenl., he bot in Chester, and in 1757 deeded to his s. Timothy. Isaac 1 of Chester in 1760 had w. Judith and sons Isaac, Timothy and Thomas.
2 Samuel, carpenter, of Portsm. 10 Mar. 1731-2 bot in Barrington, by 1735 he had settled there. M. 29 Dec. 1726 Abigail Dowst. 8 ch.
3 Hinkson, bp. 1712; in 1742, of Rye, bot in Barr. from his ‘bro. Saml. jr.’ Taxed there 1753; mar. 7 June 1733 Rachel Berry. Had no ch. and made his sister’s son, Hinkson Marden, his heir.
