Samuel Dingley was baptised on 2nd April 1711 at Cropthorne in Worcestershire, son of Elizabeth Dingley, formerly Woodward, and her husband Samuel Dingley. It appears that Samuel died as a young man of about 23, being buried at Cropthorne on 1st April 1734. Both his parents survived him.
