Samuel Dingley was baptised on 29th April 1709 at Cropthorne in Worcestershire, son of Elizabeth Dingley, formerly Woodward, and her husband Samuel Dingley. Whilst no burial record has yet been found, it seems likely that Samuel died young; his parents went on to have another son called Samuel in 1711.
