26 Mar 1713: Samuel Davis of Brookfield to Thomas Baker of Northampton for £12 4 parts of 5 of certain tracts in Northfield including a grant of ten acres to Samuel Davis Deceased.
[Also, p. 45 where Thomas Baker sells four parts of five of land formerly belonging to Samuel Davis of Northfield on 10 Nov 1713 to Hezekiah Stratton. Also, p. 52 where the guardian of Mary Davis daughter of John Davis of Northampton deceased, sells the other fifth part "that did belong unto the said Samuel Davis Deceased" to Hezekiah Stratton on 7 Feb 1721/2. It is not clear how Samuel Davis got 4/5 as the land was to be split between Samuel (double share) and John (single share) according to the settlement of the father's estate, but shows the parentage of Samuel Davis of Brookfield.]
