Samuel Davis was my ggg-grandfather. He married Nancy Reynolds Nov.3, 1810. He had seven sons and two daugthers. They are: Levi, John, James Robert, Henry (b. 1823), William, Moses, Avery, Susan and Nancy. Samuel was b. circa 1790 d. May 10,1850. Samuel had seven other siblings. His parents were John Davis(b.1763-d.1817) and Rachel West. Asael Davis Jr. was one of Johns brothers and the parents of both boys was Asael Davis Sr. (b. circa 1740 d.1824)m. Patsy ? abt. 1760. I am currently looking for detailed info on Asel Sr. who lived on the Dix River. He migrated to KY through VA and acquired land through settlement Warrants.
