"24. Samuel3 Dart (or Darte), d. April 5, 1769, aged 68 (Bolton Church Records). Sarah Shayler, his first wife, was a daughter of Timothy and Elizabeth (Parents) Shayler of Haddam, Conn., and was b. Oct. 24, 1706 (Haddam Vital Records). Samuel3 Dart m. (4) Dorothy _____? who was admitted to the Bolton Church from East Hartford, April 28, 1765. She was perhaps the widow of Samuel Gaines, and after the death of Samuel3 Dart she m. Feb. 21, 1772, John Gibbs (Bolton Church Records)."
