Samuel Cook was baptised on 13th November 1825 at Husborne Crawley in Bedfordshire, son of a lace maker called Mary Cook, formerly Bedford, and her husband James Cook, an agricultural labourer.

Sadly Samuel died when he was only one year old, being buried at Husborne Crawley on 8th July 1827.
