Samuel Carlisle

Samuel Carlisle, 75, retired construction worker, former resident of rear 122 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia, died at 10:30 a.m. today in Union Hospital where he had been a patient for four weeks.

Mr. Carlisle, who had been residing at Hotel Lee previous to being admitted to the hospital, was born in Scotland and came to this country when 5. His wife, Mary Gordon Carlisle, is deceased.

Surviving are two brothers, Robert of RD 3, New Philadelphia, and Elder John Carlisle of that city; and a sister, Mrs. Ralph Oberst of Fremont.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Gintz Funeral Home with Elder Glenn Carlisle, a nephew, officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
