BIRTH: Per article in Phil. Inquirer Magazine of 4-26-1964, Samuel's birth year & place [now the Lovett-Coulter house] and Marriage date & place.

BIOGRAPHY: According to the Phil. Inquirer article, 20 year old Samuel recited a poem in the Solebury Friends meetinghouse in 1810. He wrote poems until his death, in 1840, when he was found dead in his carriage. However, Jeremy Jordan shows date of 8 Nov 1842.
