BIOGRAPHY: He was a member of the "Pineville Anti-Slavery Society," organized, 1837-38 in Wrightstown township, and auxiliary to the Bucks County Society. This is according to THE HISTORY OF BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, CHAPTERS L & LI, MANORS AND LARGE LAND GRANTS; NEGRO SLAVERY IN BUCKS COUNTY. from the discovery of the Delaware to the present time by W. W. H. Davis, A.M., 1876 and 1905 editions. At one time there were 13 Trego members of this society.
