    BICKERSTAFF
    Samuel Calvin Bickerstaff, 82, died at his home in Paintertown, Irwin RD 2, early this morning. He was born April 7, 1882, in Paintertown, a son of the late Robert and Susan Seigired Bickerstaff. He was a retired wagon builder for Irwin Foundry, now Irwin Sensenich Corp. He was a member of Paintertown Lutheran Church, Paintertown Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, Stella Kuhns Bickerstaff; four sons, William, Samuel Jr., Gaylord, and Robert, all of Paintertown; a daughter, Mrs. Thresa Shields, Greensburg; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, James, Jamestow, N.Y.; William, Shippensville, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoak, Paintertown; Mrs. Phoebe Albright, Greensburg; Mrs. Lucy Rogers, Paintrtown. Beginning at 7 tonight and 2-5 and 7-10 daily, friends will be received at Vincent V. Rodgers Funeral Home, 310 3rd St., Irwin, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with his pastor, Rev. Edward F. Hendrickson, officiating. Burial will be in Irwin Union Cemetery.
