    presumed Salome died between 1850 and 1857 because she is no longer Isaac's wife, none of the Sawyer's are listed and he has a new wife with children age two and under.

    tombstone for "P.E." listed between Ira Sawyer and Ira L. [NOTE: Could be Salome. Old "S" sometimes looks like a "P."]; p. 9.
  9. ↑ Salome gave her birthplace as New York on 1850 census and her children indicate their mother was born in New York.

    She may have been born in Palymra, Ontario County as that was where her parents were living in 1820
  10. ↑ probably died in Whiteford since Isaac was still living in Whiteford in 1860
  11. ↑ probably buried in Van Aucken Cemetery. The illegible tombstone between Ira and Ira L. may be hers or one of the other children who died young.
