OBITUARY: Mrs. Will Aday Dies on Tuesday Death came at 11:30 o'clock on Tuesday night at her home, 3211 Barling Street, to Mrs. Will Aday, a resident of this city for the past seventeen years. Her death followed an illness of one year's duration. Funeral services are pending, but will be held sometime Thursday. The body will rest at the James-Coker-Peters Funeral Home until arrangements are completed. Mrs. Ruthie Bell Aday was born in Missouri on March 11, 1889, the daughter of George and Margaret Sayers. She married to Will Aday in Rockwall in 1909, and he survives. Mrs. Aday was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband is a Step-son Jessie Aday, of this city. Rites Today for Mrs. Will Aday Last rites will be observed at 2 p.m. today from the James-Coker-Peters Chapel for Mrs. Will Aday, 63, who died Tuesday night at her home, 3211 Barling St. Officiating will be Dr. Richard Poss, pastor of the First Baptist Church and the Rev. C.T. Carlton and burial will be in East Mount Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Paul Phillips, J. J. Gotcher, Lee Greer, John Wilkerson, Clyde Hines and Alvin Smith. |
