22 Jun 1786: Execution levied on one third part of a Dwelling house plus 3 acres in Lincoln where the said Peter Underwood now lives, also 1/8 part of 3 parcels owned by Ruth Gage deceased lying in common with the heirs of her late mother Ruth Underwood deceased. Appraisal of land: 1/3 of dwelling house plus 3 acres, and 1/8 of 3 parcels: 3 acres north of dwelling house, 7 acres of pasture land, 4 acres called Spruce Swamp.

  4. See the reference to a will in the cited deed. The contents of the will, if there is one, would certainly be informative in confirming the placement of son Abner. Further the actual judgement against Ruth might be interesting as well. Possibly if was a reimbursement of pauper charges?
