  3.   It seems likely that she was the Ruth Stone who married Joseph Newton in 1719. If so, she was still alive in 1727. See the discussion on Family talk:Daniel Stone and Ruth Roper (1). In what appears to be both her second and third marriage, prominent genealogies seem to have substituted younger, less age-appropriate, women when common sense suggests both marriages were this Ruth.
