    Ephraim Roper (3) (John 2, John 1) … son of John and Alice (-----) Roper, b. Dedham, Mass., Dec. 23, 1644; m. Dedham Priscilla -----. Farmer. Settled in Lancaster at some time after the death of John Roper, Sen. One child [Priscilla]was born in Dedham [recorded at Lancaster]. The two Priscillas, mother and daughter, perished in the first Lancaster massacre, Feb. 10, 1676. Ephraim m. 2nd. Concord, Mass., Nov. 20, 1677, Mrs. Hannah Goble of Concord. Both were killed in the second Lancaster massacre, Sept. 11, 1697; also the third daughter.
