Will of "Ruth Richards Maiden", dated 8 Nov 1823, proved 4 Feb 1834, names children of my deceased sister Abigail French relict of Rev Jonathan French of Andover that is to say Abigail Stearns wife of Rev Samuel Stearns of Bedford, to Rev Jonathan French of North Hampton New Hampshire & to Mary Holyoke Sperry wife of Rev Ebenezer Peck Sperry of Wenham. Rev Jonathan French of North Hampton to be executor. 19 Nov 1833: heirs cited to consider proving of will. 4 Feb 1834: Inventory of Ruth Richards late of Wenham single woman: $177.24, by Joseph Batchelder, Franklin Hadley, Israel D. Barnes. 1 Apr 1834: Account of Jonathan French, executor, charges includes payment to "Rev'd Eben'r P. Sperry to the support of the testatrix in his family". Residue split evenly between three legatees.
