[Note: presumably the death did not occur in Weymouth, but the uncertainty of the date (compounded by Chamberlain, who gives 1756 on p. 4:1591 (i.e., possibly end of 1755 expedition) and 1757 on p. 2:617 (i.e., possibly end of 1756 expedition)), makes it hard to pin down which of General Winslow's expeditions this was (Nova Scotia in 1755, Crown Point in 1756). More research needed.]
