Obit: - Ruth A. Richey - Kokomo Newspaper Ruth A. Richey Ruth Amanda Richey, 77, 1804 S. Union St., died at 6 a.m. Saturday Nov. 14, 1987, in her home. She was born April 30, 1910, in Howard County, a daughter of Edward and Priscilla (Irwin) Lennington. Dec. 25, 1928, she married Carl V. Richey, who survies. She was employed in several places in Kokomo and retired in 1973 from the Kokomo Nursing Home. She was a member of Church of the Brethren. Also surviving are two daughters, Dorothy Easter of Kokomo and Bette Hendrix of Greentown; a son, Stephen Richey of Kokomo; a sister, Mariah Summers of Anderson; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. One son, one grandchild, one brother and six sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary with the Rev. Ed Purcell officiating. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the mortuary.
