Amanda would have been around 16 when Esther was born. Birth was probably in NY not NM as the 1850 US Census states. Per «u»<http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi> «/u»Her first name was Ruth (middle name Esther) and she was born in NY. Burial may be wrong (From Wes's Narrative report.) He states she was buried 01 March 1899. She died in 1900.
