    RUTH DALPHINE RAMSEY, 87, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at CJ Senior Living, Hagerstown. Born Sept. 1, 1928, in Aliquippa, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Madeline (Varner) Henning.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Ramsey; a son, Gary Ramsey; a brother, Norman Henning; and a grandson, Christopher M. Shank.

    In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Ramsey had worked in housekeeping at Washington County Hospital.

    She is survived by three daughters, Janet McCartney, Norma Sentz, and Lorraine Shank; one sister, Marcela Higgins, Longwood, Fl.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

    A graveside service will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery
