OBITUARY

MRS. RUTH JOBSON

Death occurred at her home at Harrington of Mrs. Ruth Jobson, wife of Mr. George Jobson. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Anthony, of Coopernook, and was born at Mambo Island 64 years ago. She first married Mr. Harry Bale, who predeceased her. Ten years ago she married Mr. Jobson. In addition to Mr. Jobson, she is survived by the following children of the first marriage: Messrs. Henry Bale (Moorland), Richard Bale (on the staff of the Wellington Butter Factory), Archie Bale (Dungog), Mesdames J. Connor (South-West Rocks), Sid Kemp (Durban, South Africa), and C. Call (Casino). She is also survived by one brother, Mr. Charles Anthony, of Mambo Island, and three sisters, Mesdames Elizabeth Viol (Taree), Jack Long (Coopernook), and Holland (Urunga). The other sister was the late Mrs. J. Everingham of Coopernook. At 11 a.m. on Monday a service was held at the Church of England, Coopernook, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Coopernook cemetery. Rev. G. A. Fisher officiated at the church and graveside, and Mr. S. W. Bridge carried out the funeral arrangements.

MRS. RUTH JOBSON

After a long and trying, illness, Mrs. Ruth Jobson, wife of Mr. George Jobson, passed away at her home, at Harrington at 3 p.m. on Sunday, She had been ill for about four months, and spent a period in the Mayo Hospital, returning home shortly, before Christmas. Deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Richard Authony, of Coopernook, and was born, on Mumbo Island (64.years ago. Following her marriage to Mr. Harry Bale, they went to Moorland, and resided on her husband's property until about 24 years ago, when they came to Taree to live in retirement. Mr. Bale passed away about four years later. Some ten years ago deceased was married to Mr. Jobson, and after living in Taree, they went on to the farm at Moorland until three years ago, when they built a home at Harrington, where they have since resided. The late Mrs. Jobson devoted most of her time and energies to her home. She possessed a cheerful, kindly disposition, and had many sinere friends in Taree and on the Lower Manning. In addition to Mr. Jobson, she is survived by the following children of the first marriage Meters. Henry Bale (Moorland), Richard Bale (on the staff of the Wellington butter factory), Archie Hale (Dungog), Mes- dames J. O'Connor (South Went Hocks), Sid Kemp (Durban, South Africa), and C. Call (Casino), She is also survived by one brother, Mr. Charles Anthoney, of Mambo Island, and three sister, Mesdames Elizabeth Viol (Taree), Jack Long (Coopernook), and Holland (Urunga).
