  7.   Rufus Walker was the ninth child and youngest son of Thomas and Pamela Davidson Walker. He came to Newport, New York in the year 1845 and resided in the Southwest corner of the Town of Newport.
  8.   Rufus, along with his wife Phebe and parents Thomas and Pamela Davidson Walker, are buried in the United Methodist Church cemetery on Fairfield Street in Middleville, New York.
