Personal History

Rufus Ball, fifth son of Israel Ball and Persis (Stone), was born 31 March 1781, in Spencer, Massachusetts.[1] He died 26 January 1857, in Orange, Vermont, of mortification.[2]

Rufus Ball of Kingston (later renamed Granville) and Rebecca Woods of Corinth were married 4 December 1806, in Corinth, Vermont, by Samuel Hasseltine, J.P.
